Opened in 1994, the Kemper Museum’s signature Gunnar Birkerts-designed building is home to the museum’s Permanent Collection, exhibitions, and educational programming. The popular and acclaimed Café Sebastienne and the Museum Shop are found within Kemper Museum.
One block from the museum's signature location is the museum's second location, Kemper East, at the corner of 44th and Warwick. This is where the majority of Kemper Museum's administrative staff can be located. With galleries on its first floor, Kemper East presents exhibitions drawn from the museum’s Permanent Collection. Kemper East opened in 2004.
Admission and parking are always free thanks to our members and supporters. Learn more about membership.
