Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art acknowledges it resides on the ancestral territory of the Osage, Kaw, and Otoe-Missouria, among other tribal nations forcibly moved to the region such as the Shawnee, Wyandot, Delaware, Potawatomi, Sac and Fox and Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo) nations. We recognize and support the continued vibrancy of Native communities and cultures today who continue to thrive, as well as the inherent sovereignty of tribal nations. We are compelled to serve and advocate for these communities in accordance with our public mission.

Kemper Museum acknowledges and respects the diversity of Native people connected to this land today. Many recognize the land and all beings who live within it as relatives. We acknowledge the earth we inhabit, the waters of the Blue River, the Kansas River, the Missouri River, and the plants, animals, and people supported by them.

Your time is the greatest gift you can give. Join our dedicated volunteer corp. 

You can give a gift now or leave a gift for later by designating funds from your Donor Advised Fund. You’ll enjoy tax benefits today and can make gifts later, or whenever you’re ready. Click the link below and type your fund provider name, the system will prompt you through the process.

Gifts From Donor Advised Funds Are Easy!

You might consider donating appreciated stock or bonds instead of cash. This gift allows you to avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the value of the stock. Download and send this form to your stockbroker.

If you are 70 ½ or older on the date of your gift, your gift can be a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) of funds from your IRA directly to Kemper Museum.  A QCD does not create taxable income and counts towards your annual required minimum distribution. You can give up to $100,000 and $200,000 for married couples filing jointly (if both spouses have IRAs), without having to pay income taxes on the money.

Do you have a personal property that’s no longer needed? Or, have you decided that you would like to leave your house to Kemper Museum for the benefit of future generations? If so, you may wish to transfer ownership of your property and receive tax benefits today.

A memorial or honorary gift is a meaningful way to express your love, admiration, and gratitude for someone special. Your gift will create a lasting tribute. Kemper Museum will send an acknowledgement to the family or person you would like to honor.
