"Sobremesa" refers to the Spanish tradition of lingering and enjoying each other's company following a meal.
In that same spirit, Kemper Museum invites you for a talk with Marissa Gencarelli, co-founder of Yoli Tortillera, joined by Liz Cook, former food critic and freelance writer for a conversation, highlighting Gencarelli’s story and her creative voice and leadership in Kansas City.
Listen in as they discuss the power of passion, food, advocacy and community all while making connections to Kemper Museum’s current Atrium project, Lucia Vidales: Hambre.
Afterwards, join in conversation along with a masa tasting provided by Yoli Tortilleria.
