Meet Shop Artist: Anthony Pack

Museum Shop

Combining basic wood working skills, found objects, and a quirky sense of humor, Anthony Pack tries to touch the inner child within people through his artwork.

Most of his work is comprised of recycled materials. Found objects inspire ideas, drawing on his sense of humor to see them for what they could be, rather than limit them to their intended purpose. Nails, screws, and washers might become eyes, springs might become a mouth or neck, rusty nails get a second life as hands or feet, and painted scrap lumber becomes the body of the figure.

View his works in-person at the Shop or join us Saturday, April 27, for E(ART)h Extravaganza 2019 – an unforgettable Earth Day-inspired event, with a Museum Shop Sale taking place from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Museum members will receive DOUBLE their discount storewide – learn more here!
