2015 Kemper Gala: Bright Nights

2015 Kemper Gala: Bright Nights

Around the Museum

Immerse yourself in an evening of colorful characters and beautiful views, all while helping support the programs that the Kemper Museum provides for free throughout the year.

Join us on October 24 for a night you’ll never forget! The 2015 Kemper Gala, Bright Nights, takes center stage with all the excellent food, incredible entertainment, and surprises our regular guests have come to expect. This year’s gala experience and performances are inspired by the upcoming exhibition, Dark Days, Bright Nights: Contemporary Paintings from Finland. Expect an exciting schedule of live performances, music, video installations by local and national acts, including Quixotic. Food by Cafe Sebastienne and other local talent.

In addition, Christy and Bill Gautreaux, who are among the world’s top art collectors, will host Patrons on October 8 at their spectacular new home, The Artery Residence. You won’t want to miss The Kemper Gala Patrons Party, an exclusive opportunity for contributors at the $1,500 level and above. The couple's main gallery space is the conceptual heart of the home. The hallways and dramatic vertical atriums create arteries that feature other works of contemporary art. This is a rare convergence of great people and stunning contemporary art in a sparkling new environment.

For the first time ever, guests will be able to commission a one-of-a-kind garment or accessory for the evening created by a local designer with the Wear It Bright program. Proceeds support the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.

Not only will you enjoy memorable and stylish events, your generosity allows you to play an important role in ensuring Kansas City has access to world-class art and educational programs for all ages, all completely free! The Kemper Gala would not be possible without the generous support of the Museum's 2015 Gala Sponsors.
