Rotating exhibitions feature contemporary artists from around the world and works from the Permanent Collection.

Providing a platform for emerging and mid-career artists to realize ambitious projects and presenting works by many well-known established career artists, Kemper Museum exhibitions connect visitors with contemporary art and artists from all over the world. 

Across five galleries the museum presents eight to ten permanent collection and special solo and group exhibitions annually. In conjunction with exhibitions, Kemper Museum also produces one to three exhibition catalogues annually, which bring a diverse range of scholarship and ideas that support and illuminate the exhibitions.
