You make it happen
The Kemper Museum's incredible free programming and world-class art exhibitions would not be possible without the support of people like you. From one dollar to $1,000 every little bit helps. Perhaps you joined us this past year for our standing-room only artist talk by Hung Liu or attended one of our amazing kids camps, now you can help us continue our mission and offerings with a donation in the amount of your choice!
This past year saw 4,000 school children from 300 schools—more than double the number of school children from 2012— experience docent-led tours and inventive programming at no charge. Another 3,000 children and families participated in storytelling in the galleries, camps, workshops, and the opportunity for young children to experience the Museum with Art(full) Bags. More than 1,400 adults attended artist talks, music performances, and workshops.
At the Kemper Museum, there is no charge for admission, special exhibitions, artist talks, or public programming—even our parking is free! By making a donation today, you will ensure that one of Kansas City’s only entirely free cultural institutions will continue to welcome more than 130,000 visitors annually. Your support also makes possible new ways to reach a wider audience; such as plans next year to launch an initiative for teens from all socio-economic backgrounds, and programming specifically designed for homeschoolers.
Our mission has never been more important as the Kemper Museum builds on a legacy of cultural and civic engagement. Your 100% tax-deductible gift to the Museum makes this possible. Thank you, in advance, for your contribution to the Annual Fund and for helping us trigger the generous match.
If you would like to give at another level, please contact us at 816-457-6102
Because of generous supporters like you, the Kemper Museum is able to offer exemplary exhibitions, educational programming, and artist talks, all entirely free. Today I ask you to please consider continuing your commitment with a gift to help the Museum carry on this mission.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration, and your essential support of modern and contemporary art in Kansas City.
