Cuba: 2019 Havana Biennial
Join us for an unforgettable trip to Cuba during the 2019 Havana Biennial, April 12-19, 2019. Following the renowned exhibition hosted by Kemper Museum in 2018, Nkame: A Retrospective of Cuban Printmaker Belkis Ayón (1967–1999), we invite you to join us for an unforgettable and immersive travel experience with the art, architecture, culture, food, music, and warmth of Cuba.
The Havana Biennial will kick off on April 12, descending on the island for an entire month with the theme, “The Construction of the Possible.” Hundreds of artists from over 40 countries have been invited for what will be the thirteenth Havana Biennial.
Copperbridge Foundation (CBF), a Miami-based 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission to promote cultural and educational exchange through the medium of artistic expression will be our expert guides. They have an extensive history of working with Cuba and have established strong relations with U.S. and Cuban officials, scholars, artists, and educational institutions which have helped to guarantee the success of highly-curated and legally authorized travel experiences for all participants.
The cost per traveler for this special Kemper Museum opportunity is $3,185 for a double room, or $3,295 for a single, plus airfare (with suggested flight options available upon request). A $200 nonrefundable deposit is required along with a copy of each traveler’s passport by January 12, 2019. The remaining balance is due March 15, 2019.
