An invaluable resource for Kansas City students, artists, and the public alike, the primary mission of the Visiting Artists Program is to educate and foster a greater understanding and appreciation of contemporary art and culture through discourse. Visiting Artist Program engages the region by providing direct access to world-renowned speakers working across all disciplines.

Funding for the Visiting Artists Program is generously provided by Karen and Jack Holland. This program is also partially supported by a grant from the Missouri Arts Council.
