No Boundaries: Teen Art Initiative

Program Details and Location

The No Boundaries: Teen Art Initiative will run for eight sessions on consecutive Wednesdays beginning January 18 through March 8 (session dates are listed below). Each session will begin after school, from 4:30–6:30 p.m.

In addition to the eight scheduled sessions, the Program will be kicked off by a special event at the Kemper Museum. Students, their parents, and nominating teachers can familiarize themselves with the staff, curriculum, and plans. A public exhibition featuring the students’ artwork created during the Program will be unveiled on April 7, 2017.

Sessions will begin with a delicious, nutritious boxed lunch and juice to get the creative juices flowing! All art supplies and materials will be supplied by the Program.

The Program will be hosted at the Kemper at the Crossroads, 33 West 19th Street, in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to the Program space, this building also houses one of the Museum’s galleries. If transportation proves to be a challenge, arrangements will be made by the Museum to accommodate transportation needs.

Class of 2017

To apply to the No Boundaries Teen Art Initiative, you must be nominated by a teacher or school administrative staff member. Once nominated, please complete a No Boundaries application.
