In Loving Memory...

It is with immense sadness and overwhelming loss that we share the passing of our dear friend and beloved colleague, Chef Jennifer Maloney. On December 25, 2016 the family released the following statement, "At 9:55am on Christmas morning, Our love Jennifer Marie Maloney passed away peacefully and with her immediate family at her side … God bless you all for your prayers and good wishes. Peace."

I SUPPORT KEMPER MUSEUM: Linda Lighton, artist + philanthropist

Kemper Museum is happy to share the good news that Linda Lighton and Lynn Adkins, long-time members and friends of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, contributed a lead gift to our year-end campaign, doubling the amount they gave last year. Please join them with your own generous gift today.

Linda and Lynn know their gift goes far to cover the cost of exhibitions and programming that our audience truly appreciates free of charge. The Museum is grateful for their confidence and commitment to the Museum and the arts.

Paul Uhlmann, Jr. (1920-2016)

Rarely in the life of an institution does an individual make a profound and indelible mark on both its history and future.  Such was the case with Paul Uhlmann, Jr., and his relationship to Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. Throughout his life, Paul earned a remarkable reputation as a respected Kansas City business, civic, and cultural leader. His passing on March 30, 2016, provides cause to reflect on his legacy and impact at Kemper Museum.
