Photography, An Ever-Changing Format |
 |
4 Minutes 39 seconds |

| Through May 18th, the Kemper Museum is hosting the exhibition Biographical Landscape: The Photography of Stephen Shore, 1969 to 1979, a collection of images of America by the esteemed photographer. In his work, Shore was among the first photographers to advance color photography beyond advertising and fashion photography. Beth Harris, curator of education at the Kemper Museum, recently visited with Elijah Gowin, assistant professor of art, at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, to ask him about photography, a medium that often undergoes tremendous change as technologies evolve. |
