Giving Opportunities

In addition to supporting the Kemper Museum as a member, there are many options for making additional gifts that represent your commitment to contemporary art in Kansas City.Steve Crays can answer your questions and provide more information about any of the opportunities listed below. Contact him at 816-457-6102 or scrays(at)kemperart(dot)org.

Annual Giving
Your unrestricted annual gift to the Kemper Museum makes an immediate impact on our ability to offer exceptional programs and exhibitions to the community.

The Kemper Museum is always free and welcoming to all, giving the community a place to view art, to contemplate life’s meaning, to be with friends, to see beauty and substance, and to be engaged in our world. You can pay tribute to all that the Kemper Museum offers by making an annual gift. Unrestricted annual gifts are entirely tax deductible.

Tribute Gifts
Remember a lost friend or loved one. Recognize someone on a special occasion. Honor someone for his or her good deed or a job well done.

A gift to the Kemper Museum is a fitting tribute to special people in your life. Make a tribute gift in memory of someone; to celebrate a birthday, holiday, anniversary, wedding, or graduation; or to thank someone for a special kindness.
Tribute gifts are entirely tax deductible.

Gifts to Support Art Acquisition
A contribution to the Kemper Museum designated for acquisitions enables the Museum to continue expanding the permanent collection with works of the highest quality. If you would like more information about directing your contribution to art acquisition, please contact Museum Director Rachael Blackburn Cozad at 816-753-5784.

In-Kind Donations
Your business can receive attractive and beneficial recognition by donating goods or services that assist the Museum. Please contact the Museum if you would like to propose an in-kind donation.

Planned Giving
Including the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in your estate plan demonstrates your significant commitment to keeping the arts vital in our community. Please notify the Museum if you plan to or have already incorporated the Kemper Museum into your will, remainder trust, or other estate-planning device.

Gifts of Stock
Gifts of appreciated stock give you another option for supporting the Kemper Museum. Please contact Todd Stein, business manager, at 816-753-5784, if you are interested in making a stock gift.

Major Donors Demonstrate Deep Commitment

The Kemper Museum has always been fortunate to count on many generous and dedicated supporters in its 15-year history.  Our recent opening of Kemper at the Crossroads, the Museum’s new building at 19th and Baltimore, brought forth significant contributions from several Museum patrons.

These gifts are very gratifying and they support the Museum’s ambitious undertaking as we bring contemporary art to the heart of Kansas City’s Crossroads Arts District—all free of charge to our community.

Thank you to the following donors for demonstrating a deep commitment to the Kemper Museum with their gifts and their continued involvement.
