Get Involved
Corporate Council

The Investment
The Kemper Museum’s local and national success is important because the breadth of support for a contemporary art museum is often seen as a barometer of the local community’s strength and economic health. The Kemper Museum recognizes that partnerships with local businesses can have a vital impact on our community by strengthening the Museum’s capacity for delivering exceptional exhibitions and educational programs.

The Results
The Kemper Museum has attracted nationwide attention for its innovative approach to the arts, its education programs, and for its accessibility to everyone. The Museum ranks third in the state for arts attendance, with 120,000 visitors projected for 2003. Every year more than 40,000 students walk through the Museum’s doors to draw insight and inspiration from the many imaginative exhibitions.

The Objective
We invite your business to join our existing partners on the Kemper Museum's Corporate Council (Bank of America; DST Systems; H&R Block Foundation; Hallmark Corporate Foundation; Shook, Hardy & Bacon; All Pro Construction; The Kansas City Star; Midwest Airlines—just to name a few). Corporate Council provides an opportunity to become an essential part of this important art organization. As a Corporate Council member, you join other distinguished corporate citizens who understand that supporting the arts is vital to a healthy, vigorous community.

The Benefits

Your benefits of membership in the Kemper Museum Corporate Council include special access to exhibitions and artists, employee benefits, on-site recognition, print recognition throughout the region, hospitality opportunities, and a positive affiliation with a leading Kansas City museum.

Corporate Council annual membership levels range from $1,000 to $50,000.
We look forward to having your business join this pace-setting group at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.
For more information about Corporate Council membership, please contact: Steve Crays at scrays(at)kemperart(dot)org, or call 816-457-6102, fax: 816-753-5806.

Corporate Council Lunch and Tour with Visiting Artist Anthony Lepore

The Kemper Museum and M&I Bank welcomed Corporate Council members and other guests to a tour and luncheon with visiting artist Anthony Lepore.  The event was a preview of Lepore’s exhibition, Restoration.  M&I Bank’s exclusive Exhibition Series Sponsorship provided important underwriting support for the Lepore exhibition.
