Back by popular demand! Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art is pleased to announce that a new installment of Collectors Forum is planned for 2010. Collectors Forum is designed to nurture your interest in art collecting, regardless of the size or stage of your collection. We take you to meet artists in their studios, as well as gain you access into private homes and businesses with inspiring collections.
And we are traveling this year! We have planned a fantastic weekend in Dallas/Fort Worth for mid-April. The art trip-of-a-lifetime will be PARIS! in October. Our group will visit Coubertin Foundry and chateau where Rodin’s sculptures are cast (the foundry is not normally open to the public). We will be invited into private homes of French collectors and we will see the Takashi Murakami retrospective at Versailles (his first in France). Our hotel is in the triangle d’or, within walking distance of the Champs-Elysees.
Collectors Forum dues are $150 per person annually, and the group is open to all members of the Museum at the $120 Friend level or above. Enrollment is limited. |
