Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art Gets All Dressed Up for October 12’s Kemper Gala

Kansas City, Missouri—The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art will get All Dressed Up for this year’s annual Kemper Gala on Saturday, October 12. Taking inspiration from the Museum’s exhibition Dressed Up, the Kemper Gala encourages guests to mark their style and creativity at this annual fund-raising event benefitting the Kemper Museum. Proceeds from the event support the Kemper Museum’s exhibitions and educational programs, offered free throughout the year. This year’s honorary chairmen are Tavia and Clark Hunt, and the co-chairs are Courtney Goddard and Brooke Runnion Weinstein.

General Kemper Gala tickets cost $150 per person and $75 for those ages 30 and under. Patron levels of support are also available and start at $1,000 and include tickets to the Patrons Party on Thursday, September 26. Kemper Gala: All Dressed Up

Kemper Museum and the Kemper Gala honorary chairs, co-chairs, and committee invite you to All Dressed Up on Saturday, October 12, 7:00–11:30 p.m. at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. At this year’s Kemper Gala, celebrate your personal style and relish a night of fun, including a performance by the 14-piece jazz orchestra Vine Street Rumble and food and drink by the Museum’s celebrated Café Sebastienne. Guests also will be among the first to see the new Kemper Museum’s exhibition Dressed Up, featuring works of art by Hope Gangloff, Trenton Doyle Hancock, Marcia Kure, and Neeta Madahar. In the late-night tent, party-goers will revel in the good times with DJ Ashton Martin, food trucks, and more. The night’s attire is Your Style, Dressed Up

About the Kemper Museum
Kansas City’s acclaimed, FREE contemporary art museum, the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art opened in 1994 and draws more than 120,000 visitors each year. The Museum boasts three locations—Kemper Museum, Kemper at the Crossroads, and Kemper East—and a rapidly growing permanent collection of modern and contemporary works by artists from around the world. The Museum hosts temporary exhibitions, installations, film and video series, lectures, concerts, workshops, and other creative programs. Admission is free.
