Jeanne Quinn: Ceramic In(ter)ventions

This exhibition presents Jeanne Quinn's signature artistic hybrid installations that combine porcelain in dynamic dialogue with unexpected mediums, including paint, electricity, and—perhaps most unexpectedly—balloons. The weight and balance of these inventive works join the awkward to the elegant; the sublime to the everyday; a sense of fragility with the gravity of form. Quinn is Associate Professor and Associate Chair from Graduate Studies in the department of art and art history at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
