This retrospective exhibition highlights the work of this profoundly influential and inventive painter. The exhibition includes fifty years of paintings and demonstrates Wayne Thiebaud's contributions to American popular culture and art history. Thiebaud is celebrated for his images of gumball machines, cakes, pies, lollipops, and other confections, as well as for his California landscapes and cityscapes.
