| This retrospective
exhibition highlights the work of this profoundly influential and inventive
painter. The exhibition includes fifty years of paintings and demonstrates
Wayne Thiebaud's contributions to American popular culture and art history.

lollipops, and other confections, as well as for his California landscapes
and cityscapes. Many of the works in the exhibition are from the Thiebaud's
