Stained: The Art of Judith Schaechter
  October 15, 2004–January 9, 2005
read catalogue essay   back to list   see current exhibitions   see upcoming exhibitions

Judith Schaechter examines contemporary issues through her narrative stained-glass works. Her works are based on the centuries-old medium of stained glass and are enhanced by the glow of the modern-day electric light box. Schaechter's well-crafted parables suggest stories in which the subject overcomes an emotional or personal tragedy. Judith Schaechter was a visiting artist.
