by Ken Ferguson, this exhibition featured recent works by internationally
recognized alumni of the Kansas City Art Institute ceramics program who
studied with Ferguson. Included are Akio Takamori, Kurt Weiser, Richard
Notkin, Chris Staley, Cary Esser, Andrea Gill, John Balistreri, and others.
The exhibition coincided with the Ken Ferguson retrospective organized
by the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Both institutions collaborated on
a joint symposium featuring Ferguson and a number of renowned students. |
