| The legendary glass artist Dale Chihuly hung eleven glass chandeliers in the Kemper Museum's main gallery and atrium. He and a team of glass blowers created the chandeliers in glass factories in Finland, Ireland, Mexico, and Venice, where they were installed over the canals during the 1996 Biennale of Glass. Additionally, Chihuly created and installed a permanent site-specific piece for the Kemper Museum. |
