The vivid, dreamlike paintings of Jack Hughes fuse elements of art history, popular culture, and fantasy. Realized in a self-taught aesthetic with a bold palette and stylized forms, Hughes's latest paintings present fictitious worlds populated by a broad range of characters born from the puzzling realms of the subconcious mind.
